Wilma Spears

Wilma Jean (Bolton) Spears, 88, of Peru, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 31, 2024, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. Wilma was born to the late Walter Bolton and Nola Messamore on September 23, 1935, in Clinton, Tennessee. Wilma married the love of her life Thomas Spears Sr, who precede her in death.

In her free time, she enjoyed watching game shows, mushroom hunting, and spending time outdoors. Her most cherished past time was spent with her friends and family.

Surviving Wilma include her children; Michelle (David Bradley) Spears, Michael Spears, grandchildren; Alicia, Collin, Izabella, Jaydin, Sabrina, Logan, Jaleb, Gabe, Linda, Melanie, Sherane, Chloe, Cheyanne, Even, Bailey, Kristin, Monica, Jimmy, Charlie, and 20 great-grandchildren.

Wilma was preceded in death by sons, Tom Spears Jr, and Paul Spears.

Riverview Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. No public services are scheduled at this time.
