Sun Ye Bryant

Sun Ye (Yun) Bryant, 75, of Peru, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 15, 2024, to be with the Lord, at IU Health Methodist Hospital. Sun was born in Korea on June 16, 1949.

On July 14, 1974, Sun married the love of her life, Jerry L. Bryant, who survives.

Sun worked at W.C Redmon Company where she manufactured baskets for over 20 years. In her free time Sun had a passion for gardening and anything nature. Sun loved life and everyone in it. She enjoyed watching the birds and spending time with her dogs. Her most cherished past time was spent with her loving husband Jerry, they enjoyed nearly 50 years of marriage together. Sun was devoted in her faith, and deeply loved her church family. Sun was a member of Kokomo Assembly of God in Kokomo, and First Christian Church in Peru.

A funeral service honoring the life of Sun will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Riverview Funeral Home, located at 421 West Canal Street, Peru, with Pastor Paul In Cho, and Pastor Jim Loft officiating. Burial will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery in Mexico, IN.

Friends may visit with the family from 5 pm until 8 pm on Friday, June 21, 2024, at Riverview Funeral Home.

The family asks that all friends and family wear casual clothing for both funeral services and for visitation.
