Stephen Eder

Stephen Paul Eder, 72, of Peru, Indiana passed away on June 11, 2019. He was born in Peru to Bill and Frances (Whetzel) Eder. Steve graduated from Peru High School in 1965. He served in the US Army for 2 years. Steve ran Eder, INC for many years.

He married Clotilda (Giver) and they were blessed with three children. Clotilda preceded him in death in September 2009.

Steve was an active member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Fraternal Order of the Moose, Elks, Eagles and American Legion. He was a lifelong fan of the Indianapolis Colts, Indiana University sports teams and NASCAR racing.

He is survived by his children: Jeffery (Johanna) Eder, Kevin (Stacy) Eder and Annette (Thomas) Haney, grandchildren: Alana Eder, Alex Haney, Nathaniel Eder, Logan Haney, Grant Eder, Benjamin Eder and Christopher Eder and sister, Sandra Williams.

A Celebration of Life will be held on July 6, 2019 at Steve’s home from 11-2pm. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to a veterans organization in his name.
