September Dawn Conaway

September Dawn Conaway, 42, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at Kokomo, IN.

She was born on February 6, 1982 to Randy and her best friend/mom, Debra (Richards) Conaway in Kokomo, IN. She attended Kokomo High School.

In her free time, September had a passion for nature, especially sitting in the sun. She was a lover of all animals and gave homes to many stray’s. Her most cherished past time she spent with her children. She was known for her stubbornness, and her ability to walk through life without ever meeting a stranger.

She is survived by her mother; Debra (Richards) Conaway, sons; Dominque (Mattison Moore) Turner, Elijah Walker, Logan Walker, Brayden Gibson, brother; Jonathan (Krissi) Conaway, her significant other, Charles Gibson, nieces; Luiza and Lily Conaway; grandson; Ky’ren Turner.

She was preceded in death by her father; Randy Conaway.

A funeral service honoring the life of September will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at 1:00 pm located at Riverview Funeral Home, 421 West Canal Street, Peru. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Sharpsville cemetery.
