Robert "Mike" Anderson

Robert “Mike” Anderson, 71, of Peru passed away at 9:20 p.m., December 14, 2020 at Franciscan Health in Munster.

Born on August 1, 1949 in Peru, he was the son of the late Robert Milton Anderson and Harriett (Short) Anderson Brown.

He was a 1967 Peru High School graduate.

On May 11, 2007 he married Jodie R. Felton, she survives and they enjoyed 25 years together.

Mike formerly worked on the railroad and retired from Kokomo gravel.

He lived and loved to fish, which was his life passion. Mike was a skilled craftsman and enjoyed woodworking where he made wood benches that he donated for many charity events.

Survivors include his wife, Jodie Anderson of Peru, daughters, Lynette Baumiller (Joseph) of Kokomo and Wendy Anderson of Kokomo, sons, Steve Anderson of Peru and Nicholas Anderson (Mallorie) of Bunker Hill and sister, Carol Jo Holloway.  He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, Kenny Anderson of Rochester, IN.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Peru.
