Raymond “Frenchy” French, 77, of Peru, passed away on Friday, Sept. 27, 2019 at his home with his loving wife by his side. He was born on Oct. 13, 1941 in Elwood, IN to the late Violet (Knuckles) French. On April 22, 1989 he married Teresa Butts and she survives.

Ray loved to go fishing and hunting. He was a member of the FOP and the Peru Moose Lodge.

He is survived by his wife, brother in law; Jeff (Josie) Butts, Peru, Mike (Maryann McEnery) Butts, Lakewood Ranch, Florida, sister in law; Melanie Butts, along with several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2019 from 5-7pm at Riverview Funeral Home with Pastor Rod Correll officiating. Memorial donations can be sent to the organization of choice in Ray’s memory. Family and friends can sign the guestbook online at www.riverviewfhperu.com
