Phillip Michael Maxwell (Maxx) passed away unexpectedly on March 5, 2022 at the age of 31. Phillip was born in Dearborn, MI on December 7th, 1990 to Ron and LuAnn Maxwell. He moved to Miami County at a very young age and attended Maconaquah Schools. He enjoyed playing the trumpet in the band with the Maconaquah Marching Braves. After high School, he stayed between Miami County and Lafayette most of the time. He usually gravitated to being a waiter for a profession, putting his indefinite charm to great use. In his life, he never met a stranger, developing many great relationships along the way. He was his own person and had a uniqueness all his own. He made his mark on this earth and in our hearts. Phillip’s life is gone too soon.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Thomas Maxwell(Cheryl) and Catherine Milano(Tony), and maternal grandparents, Mike and Judy Collins, and step-brother Shane Hostetler. He is survived by his father, Ron Maxwell Sr. (Carol); his mother, LuAnn Maxwell; his brothers, Ron Maxwell Jr. (Libby); John Maxwell (Stephanie); step-sister Beth Hays (Dustin); and step-brother Jarred Hostetler (Sheryl) nieces and nephew, Love, Luke, and Isabelle; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A service celebrating the life of Phillip will be at 3:00 p.m., Friday, March 11, 2022 at Zion Chapel, located at 915 S. Broadway, Peru IN with Pastors Rod Correll and Jim Rairigh officiating. A viewing will be from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
