Perry G. Phillips

Perry G. Phillips, 82, of Peru passed away at 5:09 p.m., Saturday, January 1, 2022 at Dukes Memorial Hospital.

Born on September 23, 1939 in Peru, he was the son of the late Elbert Mack and Imogene (Roberts) Phillips.

He retired from Exide Battery in Logansport. Perry enjoyed tinkering in his garage, mowing his yard, taking walks, eating strawberry ice cream and taking care of his tomatoes.

Survivors include his children, Brenda Phillips, Julie Jent (Ricky) and Sherman Wright, sisters, Wanda Oswalt (Lynn) and Chris Gubi (Gary) and grandchildren, Joanna Hileman, Jessica Black, Brandy Liar, Dustin Manriquez, Christina Moore, Amber Moore, Heather Moore, Seth Wright and Trevor Wright.  He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.

Services will be at 7:00 p.m., Friday, January 7, 2022 at Riverview Funeral Home, 421 W. Canal St., Peru, Pastor Jim Zimmerman officiating.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
