Paula Louise Nelson

Paula Louise (Ormsbee) Nelson, 61, of Peru, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 24, 2024. Paula was born to the late Paul and Nona (Dickinson) Ormsbee on November 24, 1962, in Cottage Grove Oregon.

Paula attended North Eugene High School where she met the love of her life John Nelson. John and Paula were together for 43 years, married for over 36 years.

In her free time, Paula enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending every minute outdoors. Her most cherished past time she spent with her grandchildren. She cherished her family and the time she was able to spend with them.

Surviving Paula include her loving husband; John Nelson, daughter; Samantha Dunsmore, sons; Johnathon Nelson Jr., Jesse (Destinee) Nelson, brothers; Brian and Pat Ormsbee, grandchildren; Memphis Todd, Ashlynn Haggard, Daisy Nelson, Ethen Compton, and Joselyn Nelson.

Paula was preceded in death by her sister; Terri Ormsbee.
