Patricia A. (Wood) Hopper

Patricia A. Hopper, 75, of Denver, passed away at Blair Ridge Health Campus in Peru at 7:55 a.m. Friday, January 10, 2020.  She was born on March 31, 1944 in Wabash to the late Meredith and Mary Elizabeth Wood. She married Jeff Hopper on September 24, 1999 and he survives.

Patricia was a homemaker and enjoyed attending tractor and truck pulling events with her husband Jeff who was a long-haul truck driver.   She was also a member of the VFW Auxiliary in Peru.

Surviving family include her husband Jeff Hopper, Denver; her children, Bill (Ruth) Collins, Peru; Carma (Kelvin) Veil, Logansport; Chris Hobbs, Hartford City; and Chester Hobbs of Columbia City.  She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.  Patricia also has one brother surviving, Daniel (Nancy) Wood of Wabash.    She is preceded in death by her parents, 1 grandchild and 1 great grandchild.

A celebration of Patricia’s life will be held at Blair Ridge Health Campus, 269 Meadowview Drive in Peru, Sunday, February 2, 2020 with her son-in-law, Kelvin Veil officiating.  Riverview Funeral Home in Peru has been entrusted with arrangements. www.riverviewfhperu.com
