Nina Jane (Elliott) Hilgart

Nina Jane Elliott Hilgart, of Kokomo, formerly of Peru, passed away at 3:35 p.m. Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Community Howard Regional Hospital in Kokomo.   She was born April 17, 1944 in Kokomo, Indiana to Gerald James Elliott and Lola Belle Roe Elliott.  She was married to the love of her life, Mark Hilgart, who passed away May 5, 2018.  She is survived by her five children, who she dearly loved.  Cathelene (Kelly) Tedlock, Patricia (Harry) Shuck, Jeffery (Maria) Showalter, Daniel (Sara) Showalter, and Ronald Joseph (Misti) Evans.  She was blessed with twelve grandchildren and six step grandchildren.  Her greatest joy were her five great-grandchildren, Brayden, Brody, Bryce, Gavin and Gabi.   She is preceded in death by her husband Mark, her parents, grandparents, one brother and one sister.

In keeping with her wishes, private family services will be held in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Peru on Wednesday, August 5, 2020.  Riverview Funeral Home in Peru has been entrusted with arrangements. www.riverviewfhperu.com
