Maxwell Brandon Sommers, 2, of Peru, passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at Fort Wayne Lutheran Children’s Hospital.
He was born on October 2, 2016 to his loving parents, Brooke Holland and Will Sommers.
Thursday, August 1, 2019 the worst thing that could have happened to our family did. Our curious, ambitious, bright, loving, daredevil, trouble making, tippy toed and perfect blonde hair blue eyed baby, Maxwell Brandon had an accident. I suppose it was simple as someone said to me, “It was just a little boy who wanted to swim.”
Our sweet Max was Welcomed into Heaven on August 4, 2019 and our lives have been forever changed in a way we don’t understand, and probably never will. We do not expect to ever get past this but will cherish every memory we had with our bright-eyed baby.
Maxwell is survived by his parents, brothers; Mason, Marcus and Maverick Sommers, grandparents; Randy and Connie Heyer, Chris and Pam Holland and Linda Davenport, great grandmothers; Victoria Brown and Marilyn Davenport, uncle; Josh Holland, aunts; Crystal Graves and Jami Davenport and many other loving family members.
A Memorial Service celebrating Maxwell’s life will be held on August 18, 2019 at 4 pm at Riverview Funeral Home with Albert Gaboriault officiating. Our family is not asking for gifts or donations in this time of grief, but we do ask you to simply do one kind selfless thing in remembrance of Max. We’d like to thank everyone for their support in this time of need. There will be a visitation after the service until 7pm. Friends and family can sign the guestbook online at www.riverviewfhperu.com
