Maxine J. Black, 90, of Peru passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023 at home.

Born on March 8, 1933 in Comanche County, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of the late Robert E. and Nellie (Baldwin) Bragg.

In July, 1951 she married the late Kenneth Black.

Maxine retired as a volunteer for St. Vincent de Paul and she also enjoyed many years of babysitting. She loved gardening, outdoors and canning.

Survivors include her children, DeAnna Pattison and Keith Black, grandchildren, Haley Ralph (Jay), Shalana Seifert (Damon), Brady Black, Sean Green, Jamie Black and Courtney Salyer (Abie) and great grandchildren, Eastyn Long, Gabriel Singleton, Marleigh Singleton, Kynlei Ralph, Oakley Ralph, Chase Seifert, Dalayna Seifert, Braley Seifert, Devyn Black, Hutson Salyer and Rowan Salyer.

She was also preceded in death by son; Neal Black, son-in-law; John Pattison; brothers and sisters, Abigal Nellie, Haurice Andrew, Andrew Augustus, Robert Elmer, Eunice Iris, Irma Iola, Amos Windroe, Evan Boyce, Georgia Alma, Florence Frances, Eula Fae, and James Howard.

Riverview Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.  No public services will be held at this time.
