Mae Kathleen (Cross) Petroski

Mae Kathleen (Cross) Petroski, 90, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Blair Ridge Health Campus in Peru. Mae was born on August 31, 1933, to the late George and Corral (Buckley) Cross, in Michigan.

Mae married the love of her life Eugene Petroski, and they spent over thirty years together. She was a stay at home mom who raised three wonderful sons.

In her free time Mae enjoyed fishing, and doing anything outdoors. If she wasn’t outside, she could be found playing bingo with her friends, or playing slots at the casino. Mae never met a stranger, and had a knack for making friends. She truly had a heart of gold and loved people.

Surviving Mae are her sons; David Petroski, Gary Petroski, and Paul Petroski, sister; Charlene Hutchins, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many friends.

Mae was preceded in death by her siblings;  Joan Fain, George Cross, and Clinton Cross.
