Karen S. (Kinder) Trexler

Karen S. Trexler, 80, of Peru passed away peacefully at 1:50 a.m., Sunday, October 23, 2022 at Dukes Memorial Hospital in Peru.

Born on April 28, 1942 in Frankfort, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Charlotte Joan (Tetter) Kinder.

Karen retired from Delco and enjoyed cooking, sewing and spending time with family.  She was a faithful member of Zion Chapel Church in Peru.

Survivors include her husband, David Trexler of Peru, son, Matthew J. Roberts of Peru, daughter, Julia D. Roberts of Summitville, grandchildren, Brandi, Tiffany, Brandon, Ashleigh and Crissta, great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Taylor, Sophie, Tony, Cadence, Kayla and Colton and great great granddaughter, Paetyn.

She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Victor E. Roberts, Jr., and grandson, Monte M. Miller Jr.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 28, 2022 at Riverview Funeral Home in Peru.  Pastor Rod Correll will officiate.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 27, 2022 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Greentown.
