John E. Pattison

John E. Pattison, Jr., 62, of Peru passed away at 5:52 p.m., Friday, April 15, 2022 at I.U. Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born on May 27, 1959 in Peru, he was the son of the late John E. Pattison, Sr. and Esther L. (Smith) Pattison.

He was a 1978  Peru High School graduate.

On May 29, 2010 he married DeAnna Black, she survives.

John retired from Bryan Steam in 2021 where he worked as welder. He enjoyed antique tractors, gardening and watching Nascar.

He also enjoyed taking care of his fur babies, Chance, Gracie and Buddy.

Survivors include his wife, DeAnna Pattison of Peru, sons, Sean Pattison and Brandon Pattison, step children, Brady Black, Shalana Seifert and Haley Ralph, sisters, Kathryn Parret (Jay), Johnna Hann (Bob) and JoEllen Radel (Roger),  4 nephews, 4 nieces.  He is also survived by 2 grandchildren and 9 step grandchildren.  John will be especially missed by his step grandson, Devyn.

He was also preceded in death by his sister, Karen Mongosa.

Per John’s wishes there will be no visitation or service.
