Jimmy D. Clark, 78, of Peru, passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Lutheran Hospital in Ft. Wayne. Jimmy was born in Kingsport, TN to the late Charley N. and Juanita (Ward) Clark. On Dec. 23, 1958 in Gate City, Virginia he married the love of his life, Ann Marie Kennedy. In 1960 they moved to Peru.
Jimmy worked at the Peru Foundry for 20 years until in burned down and then worked for Markhon for 18 years until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, outdoor activities, spending time with his friends and family, family dinners and hunting.
He is survived by his son; Jimmy L. Clark (Margy Berkshire), Peru, daughter; Elizabeth “Sissy” Emmerling (Richard), Denver, CO., grandchildren; Amanda (Justin) Rairigh, Alicia Clark, Dylan Emmerling, Kaylynn Clark, Jimmy Clark Jr. and Ethan Stapleton, great-grandchildren; Sha’Lynn Kreig, Jayden Bohn, Braxton Nichols, Chandler and Laynee Rairigh, Great-great grandchildren; Rae’Lynn Kreig and Harper Holman, two brothers; Harold “Buggs” Clark (Jennifer) and Clarence “Butch” Clark. Along with several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers; Mack, Jerry, Herman and Robert Clark and sister-in-law; Kay Clark.
Visitation will be held at Ever-Rest Memorial Park in Cass, County on Friday, February 15, 2019 from 12pm until the service time at 2pm, with Pastor Bill Sheets officiating.
