Jeff Hopper

Jeff Hopper, 66, of Denver passed away at 3:15 p.m., Thursday, July 16, 2020 at his home.

Born on July 1, 1954 in Peru, he was the son of the late Alva and Marie (Height) Hopper.

Jeff was an over the road truck driver for over 40 years. And also hauled logs and lumber and grain. He was an avid semi and tractor puller With his International m His passion For these things was like no other.

On September 24, 1999, he married Patricia A. Wood. She preceded him in death on January 10, 2020.

Survivors include his children, Bill Collins (Ruth) of Peru, Heather Thacker (Matt) of Nebraska, Carma Veil (Kelvin) of Logansport, Chris Hobbs of Hartford City and Chester Hobbs of Columbia City, sister, Amy Shafer (Butch) of Peru, niece, Tammy Shafer of Culver and nephew, Ronald Shafer (Renita) of Mexico.

A Memorial Visitation will be held for family and friends from 3-6 pm on August 1 at Jeff’s house, 2568 East 850 North, Denver, Indiana 46926.
