Henry Jesse Mcvay

Henry Jesse McVay Jr., 58, of Peru, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2019 with his loving wife by his side. Jesse was born on May 12, 1960 in Eustis FL to Henry Jesse McVay Sr. and Joan Hobdy, both survive.

Jesse is a 1979 graduate of Peru High School. He loved fishing, hunting and spending time with his loved ones. He was an OTR truck driver for 18 years before becoming a Juvenile Corrections Officer for the last 4 years he could work.

He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Julie (Lewis) McVay, Peru, daughters; Annie McVay, Peru and Tabitha Pennington, Eustis, FL, step-daughter; Jennifer Acuna, Peru and step-son; Adam Stone, Peru, two sisters; Malinda and Nancy and granddaughters; Aliyah, Zenia, Scarlett and Stella Acuna.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents; Era and TP Remley.
