Harold Addison Claybaugh

Harold A. Claybaugh, 93, of Peru, passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2019. He was born in Argos, IN on August 26, 1925 to Hayward and Erma (Coplen) Claybaugh. He married Donna Dinsmore on October 16, 1944. She preceded him in death on September 9, 1985.

He had three daughters; Valorie (Ed) Sarver, Linda (Brock) Cyphers and Paula (Mike) Hartley, all of Peru. Grandchildren; Chris (Stacey) Sarver, Mark (Krista) Sarver, Colin Cyphers, Kylee Cyphers, Alexa Hartley, Kendra (Bill) Hoover, Jena Revilla, seven great grandchildren and five stepchildren.

In his early years he worked at Bendix, Coca-Cola, Bordens and Moriarty Buildings. He retired after 25 years as a salesman for Keebler Company. Harold liked going to Wisconsin fishing and to the Smokey Mountains. Late in his life he enjoyed playing Bingo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, second wife, Leona Daugherty and sister, Irene Forbes.

There will be a graveside service on June 6, 2019 at Maple Grove Cemetery in Argos at 11:30am. The family would like to thank the staff at Aperion Estates and Great Lakes Caring for their kindness and care. Riverview Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
