Glenda M Willis

Glenda Mata Willis, 48, of Peru, passed away on Monday, May 7, 2018 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne with her loving family by her side. She was born on May 13, 1969 in the Philippines to the Ceferino Mata and Adela DeGuzman. On Feb. 28, 1987 she married Thomas Willis and he survives.

Glenda loved to spend time with her granddaughter, Jacelyn and she also loved to play Bingo at Miami Nations of Indians and Kokomo VFW. She also loved to go fishing and spend time with her family.

She is survived by her three children; Glenn (Eden) Willis, of Findlay, Ohio; TJ (Vevalyn) Willis, of Findlay Ohio and Jessica Willis significant-other John Cartwright. Four sisters; Doris (Boyett) Pedong, of Findlay, Ohio, Christine (Armando) Torres, of Findlay, Ohio, Engelyne Mata, Findlay, Ohio and LynLyn (Chris) Short of Findlay, Ohio; two brother; George (Fe) Mata, Philippines and Jyme (Jingle) Mata of Flint, Mich.. One granddaughter; Jacelyn Rene Willis-Cartwright, along with several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her aunt Rose DeGuzman.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 from 10am-12pm with the services following at 12pm at Riverview Funeral Home, 421 W. Canal St. Peru.
