Floyd "Wolfie" E. Wolfe

Floyd “Wolfie” E. Wolfe, 72, of Peru, IN, passed away on September 19,
2023, at Blair Ridge Health in Peru. He was born on May 4, 1951, in
Detroit, MI, to the late Floyd P. Wolfe and Catherine (Smith) Wolfe. After
completing his education, Floyd worked for many years as a boilermaker
for Bryan Steam. He also was a proud member of his community, and
enjoyed his many years working at the Denver Tavern, local VFW, as well
as Ebert Machine Company. He never knew a stranger and enjoyed being
a member of many local associations and clubs around Peru. Floyd was
known as a positive man who never had a bad thing to say about anyone,
and who had many joys in life. He was an avid sports fan, who enjoyed
watching some of his favorite teams every year, like the New York Yankees
or Green Bay Packers, and he also loved movies. However, his greatest joy
in life was the time he spent with others, and his positive outlook as well as
long-lasting friendship will be missed by many.

Floyd is survived by his sons, Christopher “Critter” Wolfe, Michael (Shanna)
Wolfe, and David (Christal) Wolfe; sisters, Cherie Wolfe and Tammy
Gardner; his grandchildren, Cooper, Cate, Jadelin, Addalyne, Mallorie, Benson,
Madison, and great-grandson, Maverick. He was preceded in death by his
parents.

Services for Floyd will be held, Thursday, September 28, 2023, at 2:00 PM
at Riverview Funeral Home in Peru, IN. Visitation will be held from 11:00
AM until the time of service. Following the services friends are welcome to
join the family for a gathering at the Peru Literary Aid Society, 21 W. Canal
St., Peru, IN from 3:00 PM - ??? in celebration of Floyd’s life.
