Esther Arline (Kirby) Metzger

Ester Arline Metzger, 98, Peru, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2017 at Aperion Care Peru. She was born on August 2, 1918 to the late Frank and Mary (Balinger) Kirby. She married Donald Metzger in 1944 and he preceded her in death in 1981.

She is survived by two sons; Jon W.Metzger of Peru and Dan J. (Diane) Metzger of Bloomington, several nieces and nephews, best friends Chris White, Alexis, Laurie and A.J. Brinson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and siblings.

A graveside service will be held at Metzger Cemetery on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 1pm with Rev. Kenneth Greenwald officiating. You may leave your condolences online at www.riverviewfhperu.com
