Emil George Rocheford

Emil G. Rocheford, 81, of Bunker Hill, passed away on May 18, 2019 with his loving wife and son by his side. Emil was born on Feb. 22, 1938 in Worcester, MA to the late Emil Sr. and Esther Rocheford.

Emil is retired Senior Master Sergeant, 26 years before retiring at Grissom AFB. His specialty was Radio Communications Operator on KC135 aircraft. He is a Veteran of the Vietnam War. He is a recipient of the Flying Cross. He loved fishing, hunting and spending time with his friends and his loved ones.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Karin Rocheford, Bunker Hill, son; Dennis (Lisa) Rocheford, Pembroke, NH, two sisters; Joyce (Lloyd) Morin, East Douglas, MA and Debbie Rocheford, Worcester, MA, two grandsons; Jeremy (Peaches) Rocheford, North Andover, MA ad Keehan Rocheford, Kokomo, 2 great granddaughters; Audrey and Cedena Rocheford, North Andover, MA, daughter in law; Pam Rocheford, Kokomo.

He is preceded in death by his parents, son; Emil Jr.,  brothers; Wayne and Jerry Rocheford and sister; Diane Rocheford.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, May 24, 2019, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Peru, Indiana, with Father Adam Mauman officiating.  Burial will follow in Marion National Cemetery, Marion.  A time of visitation will be held in the church vestibule from 10am until the time of service.
