Doris Annette (Lewis) Minns

Doris Annette Minns, 80, of Peru, peacefully passed away on Sunday, Nov. 10, 2019.

She was born on Jan. 16, 1939 in Peru to the late Calbert and Florence Lewis.

She married Harold E. Minns Sr. on April 14, 1957. She was a homemaker and in her free time she loved doing crossword puzzles, watching game shows and loved spending time with her family, friends and her dog Lucy.

Doris is survived by her children; Kevin (Wendy) Minns, Harold (Margie) Minns Jr., Dan (Kimberly) Minns, Jerry (Diane) Minns, Tonya (Sam) Stuber, Brad (Tionna) Minns, Karen (Jim) Townsend, Darren (Tonya) Minns, Alice (Tony) Donnaurmmo, Billy Minns and one brother; Alden Lewis. Also surviving are 34 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, six brothers, five sisters and one daughter.

A funeral service celebrating the life of Doris will be at 1pm on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2019 at Riverview Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Stuck officiating. Burial will take place at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Peru.

Visitation will be from 10am until the time of service at 1pm.
