Donna S. Schwingle, 52, of Peru, passed away unexpectedly at her home, Sunday, July 19, 2020.  She was born November 22, 1967 in Peru, Indiana to Donald and Constance (Schmidt) Schwingle.  She worked as a CNA for several years at Aperion Care in Kokomo.   She enjoyed watching horror movies, was an avid reader, enjoyed Harley Davidson motorcycles and Chevy Camaro’s.

Surviving family include her children, Maxwell Matthew Gardner, Peru, IN; Nichole Lee Musselman, Logansport, IN; Kristine Shelby Gardner, Peru, IN; and Nikki’s fiancée Justin Vorhees; her grandchildren, Jordan Christopher Gardner-Crispen, Jaxsin Abel LeRoy Bender, Kagen Gardner, Layne Vorhees, and Rhythem Vorhees.  She is also survived by brothers, Donnie Schwingle, Logansport; Pete Schwingle, Mississippi and Keith Schwingle, Florida.; ex-husband, Paul Gardner, Rochester, IN and her Fiancée, Don Dewey, Peru, IN; adopted daughters, Tasha McKee and Shea Blanchard and special family friends, Kenny and Amber Studebaker and Daleena Boles.  Donna is preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter, Hattie Constance Fay Gardner.

Visitation will take place from 3 – 5 p.m. Monday, July 27, 2020 at Riverview Funeral Home, 421 W. Canal Street, Peru, IN.  No services are planned at this time.  Riverview Funeral Home in Peru has been entrusted with arrangements. www.riverviewfhperu.com
