Dennis E (Denny) Nealis

Dennis (Denny) E. Nealis, 65, passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at St. Vincent Hospital in Kokomo, IN.

Denny was born on June 24, 1953 in New Castle, IN to the late Orville Nealis, Jr & Charlotte (Marden) Nealis.  He graduated from Maconaquah High School in 1971. He then went on to earn an Associate degree from Ivy Tech.

Denny married his wife, Gayle, on November 11, 2011 & she survives.

Denny made many friends over the years from working with several area farmers, at Berko Electronics, Controls, Inc & most recently, the maintenance department at the Cass County Jail.

He enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting, shooting & was a member of the LPPL gun club.

He is survived by brothers, Larry (Cindy) Nealis, Mexico, IN; Randy (Debbie) Nealis, Bunker Hill, IN; Bill (Connie) Nealis, Peru, IN; sisters, Linda Nealis, Peru, IN; Annette (Jeff) Rensberger, Peru, IN; several nieces & nephews; step son, Chris (Michelle) Fogerty, North Manchester, IN and their children Allyson, Logan & Baylee; and special friend Falen Murray, Logansport, IN.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held at Riverview Funeral Home in Peru, IN on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at 4:00pm with Reverend Bob Clark officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00pm until the time of service. Family and friends may leave your condolences online at, www.riverviewfhperu.com
