Dennis Goodridge

Dennis Goodridge, 70, of Peru, passed away on the morning of July 27, 2019 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Peru. He was born on September 29, 1948 in Corona, California to the late Nathan and Jeanne (Philips) Goodridge. On September 22, 2006 he married the love of his life, Jeanne Harrison, she survives.

After graduating from high school, Dennis joined the U.S. Marine Corp. He served two tours in Vietnam before being honorably discharged in 1970. After being discharged he went home to California and took care of his mother until her passing. He then moved to Peru to be close to friends. Dennis liked to fish and drink beer with his friends.

He is survived by his wife; Jeanne, grandchildren; Dakota Martin, Lexi, Kylie and Kennedy Harrison and Lindsey, Lana and Claire Martin, great granddaughter; Evelyn Smith, Special nieces; Gabrielle Bassile and Andrea Smith, bestfriend; Russell Bassile, sister in laws; Mary (Darrell) Wright and Cindy (Dave) Stone, mother in law; Mable Kile and his loving cat Tigger.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers; Jim and John Goodridge.

Funeral services for Dennis will be held at Riverview Funeral Home on Weds. July 31, 2019 at 1pm. The family will accept visitors at 11am until the time of service. Pastor Raleigh Adams will be officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to the funeral home to offset expenses.
