Cynthia Ann White

When the body gives way and we return to the earth, our soul is set free to fly. Cindy’s soul is now flying as a hummingbird flies to the flower. Although she will be missed by many, her flight and her life is something we can all celebrate. Cynthia Ann (Hancock) White was born on April 2nd, 1960 in Wabash Indiana to William (Bill) Hancock and Sandra (Unger) Hancock and passed away at her home on May 31st, 2021.  She grew up with 3 brothers, Tim Hancock and wife Lesa, Jedd Hancock and wife Lou, Vance Hancock and wife Karena, and 2 sisters, Grace (Hancock) Webb and husband Comer, and the youngest Jo Hancock. Cindy married Randall (Randy) White on December 23rd, 1986. Cindy was blessed with a daughter Heather (Hancock) Roberts and husband Bill Roberts, daughter April Martin and husband Chris Martin, son Ricky Hancock, step daughter Jessica (White) Humphreys and husband Jason Humphreys, step son Matt White and wife Ginny, daughter Kris (White) Reed and partner Novia Shallenberger.  The fruit of her family tree also includes 4 grandsons and 5 granddaughters.  Cindy was preceded in death by her father Bill, mother Sandra, husband Randy, sister Grace, step daughter Jessica, and companion Dave Martin. In the last few years Cindy has enjoyed the simple pleasures of family, friends, crafting, sewing, crocheting, planting flowers in her yard, and the company of her four legged friends for life Sasha and Tuffy. A celebration of life is scheduled for Cindy at the Riverview Event Center, 421 West Canal Street, Peru Indiana, on June 19th , from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to come share in the celebration of Cindy’s life.
