Carol Sue (Donaldson) Hoover

Carol Sue Hoover, 82, of Peru passed away at 2:32 a.m., Monday, August 16, 2021 at Howard Community Hospital in Kokomo.

Born on August 26, 1938 in Peru, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Helen (Ebey) Donaldson.

On September 11, 1955 she married Jim D. Hoover, he survives.

She was a lifelong homemaker and was a member of the First Church of Christ.

Carol enjoyed her time as a seamstress for the circus for many years.  She loved spending time with family most of all her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Jim D. Hoover of Peru, children, Jeff Hoover (Kathy) of Akron, Kathi Greene (Joseph) of Peru, Jim Hoover (Sue) of Peru and Kristi Wittenberg (Tim) of Galveston, brother in law, John McKee of Bunker Hill.  She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by son, Michael Hoover, sisters, Della McKee and Diana Donaldson and brother, Mike Donaldson and his wife, Karen.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, August 20, 2021 at Riverview Funeral Home with Pastor Shane Capps officiating.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 19, 2021 at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
