Carol E. (Burton) Bitzel

Carol E. Bitzel, 80, of Wabash a wife, mother and Christian went to be with the Lord at 8:05 a.m., Friday,
October 20, 2023 at the Waters of Wabash East in Wabash.

Born on July 16, 1943 in French Lick, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Rosemary (Jones)
Burton.

She was a lifelong homemaker and was a member of Erie Street Baptist Church in Wabash and Gastonia
Baptist Church in Gastonia, North Carolina.

Carol is survived by sons, Terry Bitzel (Sally) of Wabash and Jerry Bitzel of South Carolina, brother,
Michael Burton (Nancy) of Fairmount, grandchildren, Amanda Sisco (Joe) of Wabash, Justin Bitzel of Wabash, David Perry (Lindsey) of Noblesville, Chase Moore of Noblesville, Samanth Eason of South Carolina and 6 great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Truman Bitzel.

A graveside service will be held at a later date in Clover, South Carolina.
