Beverly Sue (Ricker) Tyler

Beverly Sue Tyler, 83, of Peru, passed away at 2:45 p.m. Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Dukes Memorial Hospital in Peru.   She was born February 28, 1936 in Brook, Indiana to Clyde F. and Mary A. (Collier) Ricker.

Beverly was a homemaker and member of the Ladies of the Moose in Peru along with membership as a Golden Eagle and life member of the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary in Peru. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed baking for her friends and family.

Surviving family include her children, Susan Diana Smiley, Peru; Rhonda Elks, Tennessee; Amy V. (Bob) Hiers, Peru; and Richard H. Blair of Peru.  She is also survived by eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.  Beverly is preceded in death by her parents, husband Richard, siblings, Jean A. Hensler, James T. Ricker, Dr. Albert S. Ricker and one grandson.

A celebration of her life will be held from 5 – 7 p.m. Thursday, Janaury 30th  at Riverview Event Center with Bill Sheets officiating.  Memorial contributions may be given to the American Kidney Foundation or a charity of donor’s choice.   Riverview Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. www.riverviewfhperu.com
